Calling All Faithful of Risenholm - A Request
Posted: Tue Jan 05, 2021 8:10 pm
The following notice is tacked up on notice-boards around Risenholm, as well as hung by the entrance to the building that houses the Well, and just outside the Elder's Home where the library is situated.
My Fellow Risen,
Are you someone who considers themselves faithful or religious in any form or manner? Do you find your lips and hands moving in prayer, even if you don't fully understand what compels you to do so? Have you sworn any oaths that bind your heart and soul? Do you have a rigorous code you have promised to uphold for a divine reason? Does the land itself call you to a higher purpose? Or, perhaps, are you one of the lucky few to have found firm footing in one of the local faiths and wish to share more information about it?
I am working on an editorial piece to be submitted to our new local paper, True Neutral News, for publication. This editorial will be an ongoing project and will discuss matters of faith, gods, the divine, and philosophy. I have interviewed several individuals already who had interesting wisdom to share, but I am always on the hunt for more.
If you feel up to the task of sharing your thoughts, theories, beliefs, discoveries, or even your questions - please speak with me as I continue to build my knowledge base for this upcoming writing series. My writings will appear in more than one issue of TNN, so fear not if you do not catch me right away, or need time to think it over yourself before coming forward.
If you wish to remain anonymous and not have your name published, I will hold the knowledge of your identity a closely-guarded secret. If you wish to remain so completely anonymous that even I do not hear your voice or chance seeing your face, drop me a letter. I have nailed a drop-box to a post several paces behind the Elder's home, along the outer wall of the town. You will see it by the yellow and white cloth tied to the top of the post. I check the box twice, if not thrice, daily - rain or shine.
Always Yours,
Rystel
