This journal is written in plain black ink with quick, tidy penmanship. The pages, an unremarkable average-quality parchment, contain entries that are not dated but instead labeled by the number of days… perhaps how long the writer has been here? The journal itself is bound in dark, soft leather with black stitching. It is unenchanted and unwarded. The front page is labeled with the name “Rystel Winter” and nothing more.
